What is Hammer and Gavel?

Hammer and Gavel is an auction based fantasy sports platform where you can play fantasy sports by bidding on your favourite players to buy them and make a team just like IPL Auctions and win cash prizes.

How does the process work?

  1. Select your favourite match/tournament/series to play and join cash contests. Wait for the auction to start and join the live auction as per the given time.
  2. Participate in the auction for the contest you have joined. You will be given virtual purse with crditds to bid and buy players and make your team. Buy different player and make your team as per the rule of the tournament (rules differ from series to series and you will be informed in advance).
  3. Your players will perform in the real match and fantasy points for activities like runs scored, wicket taken, catch taken etc. will be calculated and added. After the end of the tournament/ match whoever has scored highest points with their team, will be declared winner and win the cash prize.
Please note that the points will be calculated on the basis of Dream11 points.

How will I pay for the contest and how will I get the winning amount?

You can deposit funds using UPI or Paytm to your H&G Wallet and use this to play contests. Your winning amount gets added to your H&G wallet which you can withdraw in your Paytm or UPI. Withdrawal is processed within 4 hours.

How to download the app for Android and iOS users?

Android user can click on Download App Button on this page to download our apk. Once the APK is downloaded, you can simply install it and signup to play.


Our iOS app is under development and is under progress which will be launched soon. Till the time, the user can play the auction on our website www.hammerandgavel.in. The website is completely mobile optimized and works super smooth, just like an app even on your chrome/safari browser.
